Who we are

Established in 1981, Artcraft Research is wholly owned and controlled by Mr Les Winton (Managing Director), who has undertaken communications, marketing, social research and evaluation, and provided training, issues management, and strategic counsel for government and industry since 1971.
Artcraft Research is an outstanding and innovative communications, marketing and social research organisation, valued by its many long-term clients not only for our ability to conduct well-designed and meaningful research, but also for our involvement in the development of their marketing and communications strategies.

Put simply, we are professionals who believe that social research is about providing insightful strategic counsel and realisable recommendations, not just reporting the research findings.
We are a medium-sized consultancy, conducting a wide range of both qualitative and quantitative studies using our own resources.  We undertake communications, marketing and social research, program evaluations, and community consultation and engagement programs for clients throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Through WSRS, Artcraft Research is a member of the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMSRO), and is accredited to ISO20252.  Les Winton is a Member of the:

  • Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS), through which he has Qualified Practising Market Researcher status (QPMR);
  • Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), through which he has Certified Practicing Marketer status (CPM), and is a Fellow.
  • Australasian Evaluation Society (AES)
  • International Association for Public Participation Australasia (IAP2)
